I was in needed a roofing company that met basic criteria; 1. BBB recognized 2. Quality company offering a quality product 3. Transferable warranty

Cooper roofing met the criteria and a site visit was scheduled promptly.

Within a week, Sebastian was on site and discussing the options cooper roofing could offer that suited my needs. I could tell he was passionate about his job and was extremely knowledgeable. I have had other company’s perform a site visit and and quote me significantly more that what was discussed on the phone. I value honesty and transparency as these qualities reflect the integrity of the person as well as the company. Sebastian was honest and transparent which I value immensely.

As my roof may have a much larger structural concern, he was straight up with me and informed me that my required work was beyond the scope of cooper roofing.

While I may not be in a position to get my roof repaired at this time - until I address the structural issue- Sebastian represented cooper roofing well with professionalism and transparency.

Sebastian, estimator of Cooper Roofing provided incredible service.  He was exceedingly helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and very willing to share his knowledge.  I consulted with other roofing companies, Sebastian was the only estimator that climbed onto the roof to examine it.  He provided annotated photos of areas of concern and estimated the roof's remaining lifespan.  I appreciated his honesty.  Sebastian's evaluation also included several comprehensive roof replacing options; depending on my budget and goal.  I couldn't have asked for a better estimator.

We had our roof replaced by Cooper Roofing a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier.

The company was very easy to deal with and all staff that we had contact with were polite, professional, patient and welcoming.

From the first phone call to the final email, we felt respected and valued as clients.

Things unfolded exactly as they said they would and all and schedules were met.

Everyone that we had personal contact with were great and all technicians that attended the site (our house) were polite and smiling.

Update:

Shane proactively reached out and offered a complimentary warranty service to ensure the work was done right. His honesty and genuine care for his clients really moved me, and I decided to give this one last chance.

Freddy and Arpinder visited on two separate occasions to conduct thorough inspections of the roof, and they went above and beyond to properly fix the issues left behind by the previous crews. Their work and commitment have finally put me at ease.

A special shout‑out to Freddy, who was meticulous and diligent. At this point, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my roof but Freddy.

I regret not sharing this review sooner.

We experienced a roof leak during a fall rainstorm back in 2024. I reached out to three different companies, and Cooper was the first to respond. Two roofers showed up at our house the next morning. I was grateful and impressed by their quick response. However, everything went downhill from there. Here are some of my negative experiences with Cooper:

Incompetent: It took three different groups of roofers and four separate visits to fix the problems. Further leaks and new damage were caused by the sloppiness of the first and/or second group of roofers. They missed identifying existing issues, put nails through the shingles during repairs without sealing them properly, which resulted in new leaks and water damage.

Unprofessional: While speaking with one of the roofers, the other roofer/assistant spit right in front of me, and the spit landed on our pathway. Both the first and second groups of roofers left their tools on the front lawn after the job. One of the tools was a hammer with a green handle, and it was lying in the grass. My husband almost ran over it with the lawn mower.

Cost: I paid almost $6,000 for two plumbing stacks, two exhaust vents, ridge cap replacement, and replacing about three rows of shingles. I was quoted “12-16 hours” for the repair work, but the actual work took about four hours. It’s hard not to suspect that I was overcharged excessively.

Each group of roofers claimed they were experienced and had been working on roofs for several years. Yet, when I asked about the condition of the shingles, I received three different answers – ranging from replacement within the next three years to 15 years. Shocking.

I asked each group of roofers to make sure to check the skylights as I suspected there might be leaks. All of them ensured me the skylights were okay. However, when I had a de-mossing service done recently by a different company, the technician informed me that there were exposed nails on one of the skylight mounts, as well as on some of the shingles. He kindly sealed these for me. I was very upset about the poor service and work left behind by Cooper’s roofers, and I felt compelled to share my experience.

The trust has been broken. I will not choose Cooper for any roofing needs, nor recommend Cooper to others.

Great service, from pre-sales phase all the way to execution and project wrap-up. I was impressed at the level of detail the Cooper team provided during the roof install via their nightly status update. Pricing was comparable to other big players out there. The guys who go up on the roof to install were great bunch of guys who know what they were doing. Treated them to Tim Hortons once for the work they were doing 👌.

Overall, a happy customer here. Definitely would recommend Cooper to people I know.
